The Block Escape 3D Guide: Use the Camera as a Tool
Learn to verify depth in The Block Escape, clear revealing corners, and rotate around the model without losing track of your route.
A flat-looking corridor can still be occupied
Perspective compresses depth. A block behind your selection may sit on the same visual line and disappear from view, even though it still prevents the route. Turn the model slightly whenever the depth of an exit is uncertain.
Begin from a corner view that shows two faces. It provides a better sense of where the structure ends than a straight-on view of one surface.
Remove pieces that improve the next view
Corner and silhouette blocks do more than leave the structure. Their absence exposes hidden faces and creates cleaner camera angles for the next decision. That makes them useful early targets when their arrows point outward.
After opening a corner, rotate around the gap and inspect the layer underneath. Do not assume that the next visible arrow uses the same escape direction.
Travel around the model as it shrinks
Clearing one side completely can leave a compact stack concealed at the back. Alternate faces and maintain a readable outline so that the inner pieces become visible from several directions.
For the last group, center the model and verify each route twice. The smaller shape leaves less visual context, which makes careful depth checks more important, not less.
