Frame one corner without hiding the cube

Use a small drag to place an upper corner near the center of the portrait frame. You want to see two faces and the outline behind them, not spin the model so far that orientation is lost.

Move your hand away after rotating. A finger can cover the surface arrow or the block sitting behind it on a narrow screen.

Open different sides of the core

Release a verified outward block, note which inner piece appears, and then inspect another corner. Alternating sides produces several windows into the center instead of one deep, hard-to-read tunnel.

Cross-check any close overlap from a second angle. The extra camera movement costs little compared with restarting after a mistaken depth reading.

Center the finish
